It's been awhile, and some of you may have noticed I've been rather absent from music making lately. Well, I've got a pretty good reason: I've been heavily involved in a new project to improve the sound of amplified acoustic guitar throughout the world.
I've started a company called Audio Sprockets, and with the help of two partners, have developed a new preamp system for acoustic guitarist. Its called ToneDexter. Theres a lot to tell, but the short short version is that it transforms the brittle, quacky sounding pickup into rich, natural sound.
We are debuting the product at the Summer NAMM show in Nashville this week. We'll be launching a crowd funding campaign after that to give early adopters a significant discount. We hope to be in full production before year's end.
